Description

Juicy, flavorful, and protein-packed, these Cottage Cheese Chicken Patties are easy to make, low-carb, and perfect for meal prep. Whether you pan-fry, bake, or air-fry, they’re a healthier twist on classic chicken patties — ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

½ cup cottage cheese

1 large egg

½ cup panko breadcrumbs

1 clove garlic, minced

¼ tsp onion powder

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, cottage cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley.

2. Gently mix until just combined — don’t overwork it.

3. Form into 6 equal patties, about ½ inch thick.

4. Pan-fry in olive oil over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side, or bake at 400°F for 18–20 minutes.

5. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

To air-fry, cook at 375°F for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway.

For extra moisture, use full-fat cottage cheese.

Freeze cooked patties for up to 3 months.

Great served with avocado, in wraps, or over salad.
